Getting to 2100

Getting to 2100

Vision2Action Symposium

Rex will be the keynote speaker on the topic of Green Urbanism.

The Vision2Action symposium series is a program of the Olympia (WA) chapter of the Northwest EcoBuilding Guild.

“Green urban density” — compact development driven by the need to protect surrounding open space for forests and farms, as well as to encourage the re-development and revitalization of urban cores. Additional benefits include reducing costs in new infrastructure, commuting expenses, and carbon emissions. The keynote will set the stage for a lively discussion among developers, city planners, and local citizen activists, with the goal being to facilitate broad agreement on the need for well-designed urban density.
